The Blackstone family seeks the help of a paranormal investigator, Colt Justice, shortly after moving to the wilderness of Sunset, Kentucky. Harrison Blackstone takes the job of tearing down Fred Potter's barn and trouble begins. Fred warns Harris not to go past the fields beyond his barn. There was a deep dark hollow there. When Fred and a hunting party tried to enter that hollow, their horses would not go and their dogs refused to go near the hollow. These were dark woods, cursed woods, some say. It's what lurks in the woods, or in the dark, that calls us. When we don't know what's in those woods, or in the dark, or underneath that barn, it never stops calling.
