This is where Lee says Bitcoin, a virtual cryptocurrency, is superior, and here he helps to make the subject less intimidating. He is cofounder of one of the earliest Bitcoin exchanges and offers a great overview of the digital currency. The book is organized logically, taking readers through Bitcoin's background and on to present-day matters like how the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) and other regulatory agencies handle Bitcoin and how that impacts the currency's viability. Lee presents numerous other topics including acquiring, mining, and storing bitcoins. Although he does not focus on investing, Lee includes a chapter covering tips and resources. He wraps up with Bitcoin predictions such as greater acceptance, faster adoption by people and industries, and impact on society. Readers interested in Bitcoin will enjoy this conversational-style book.
